The Memory & Attention Center provides neurocognitive evaluations of mild and major neurocognitive impairment. We also evaluate and consult regarding associated emotional and behavioral problems. The Memory Center has office locations in the medical district near the hospital in Hyannis, MA and on Main Street in Buzzard’s Bay. We often do home visits and we see patients at assisted living facilities (ALFs).

Take Exit 7 from the Mid-Cape (Rt 6) towards Hyannis, and go through the light at Rt. 28. That's at DJ's Wings, with the train cars. Immediately bear left to stay on Camp street and then take your first left turn onto Cedar. Cedar is shaped like a "T" and confusing, so come in from the Camp Street end and save yourself grief trying to find it!

258 Main St., Buzzard's Bay
We also have handicap accessible offices in Buzzard's Bay on Main Street as shown below. We have plenty of parking and are easy to find.

We also have offices in Buzzard's Bay on Main Street.
We are across the street from Mezza Luna restaurant, on the pond. Look for our main entrance at unit B3 called Bourne Pond Associates. Just follow the brick path shown to the left. We specialize in behavioral, emotional and cognitive issues of late age; e.g., dementia (Alzheimer’s Disease or AD)–its diagnosis and treatment.

Both locations offer a full array of mental health services, including psychiatry, to people of all ages. Because we do home visits and accept Medicare–we are typically booked many months in advance. Call to set up an appointment as soon as you have your PCP’s referral. Ask your doctor, NP or PA to fax the notes and and referral/request to us at 508-420-7460.

Home-based and Office Visits
Our sessions are intensive and typically involve 2.5 to 3.5 hours of face-to-face contact with the patient and family if available. We interview to determine the patient's problems, take history, then do testing and finally offer feedback. A 6–7 page report is then sent, usually within 2-3 weeks to the patient’s PCP and to the family. If you are interested in a home or office evaluation for someone with suspect dementia or may have behavioral/cognitive problems, call us. Craig is a wealth of information and you can reach him at the Hyannis office, above.

Home visit availability is limited by COVID-19. For current information visit our main website for Limbic Resources, Inc.

Getting Ready for a Home-based or Office Visit
Please review our guidelines and requests on this website here to prepare for a home visit, or to know what to bring to and expect at an office visit.

We also do private evaluations for attorneys, guardianship/conservatorship and for Elder Services of Cape Cod & the Islands.

You can read more about why there are no other providers in SE Massachusetts doing dementia evaluations at our old website:
The Memory & Attention Center.
